Yeezy's Chief of Staff, Eric J Cui, later confirmed the cancellation on his Instagram.

Cui explained that the cancellation was beyond their control, but reassured fans that this does not mean the Atlanta rapper and the ‘Vultures 2’ phenomenon would not make its mark in Asia. The Yeezy Chief of Staff hinted, "Korea is in for a treat," expressing his excitement at seeing the sold-out event "come to life."
