The ‘Y$’ group enthralled fans at recent listening parties in Chicago and San Francisco, where a bevy of songs from the first album played through. Despite the album’s no-show on streaming, ‘Vultures 2’ will debut in every shape and form as Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign stay set to host a listening party at Egypt’s Saqqara Pyramids on April 20, confirmed by the latter on his Instagram stories.
Situated about 19 miles from Cairo, Saqqara holds the distinction as the largest archaeological site in Egypt and as the home of the Step pyramid of Djoser. Moreover, in the listening party, fans can preview all the latest changes, additions, and tweaks to the likely final track list of ‘Vultures 2’ that also features new faces like JPEGMAFIA. Additionally, news or insight on the potential streaming debut of the album may also find its way out from the event.
On the face of such listening parties, Kanye West has, although hinted as to why he has not yet opted for a streaming release.

In recent interactions with fan pages on X, Kanye West showed active interest in taking ‘Vultures 2’ away from streaming. Labeling streaming platforms as the ones who controlled the artist, the ‘Donda’ singer wished for his fandom to buy his upcoming albums from Yeezy, at rumored prices of $20. Moreover, he also asked fan pages if they could “get a million people to buy the album.”
Likely in the discussion phase, the move to steer away from streaming stems from the issues of revenue-sharing as well as having frequent hiccups and standoffs such as when ‘Vultures 1’ faced delays in landing on Spotify despite an Apple Music listing. Regardless, with a clearer picture yet to form, fans can cross their fingers for positive developments at the upcoming listening party.
