“Visionary” Ye Showered With Infinite Praise for His Fashion Choice
Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has been making a major impact on the fashion industry and youth culture ever since he got kids convinced to wear those shutter shades and beg their parents for Air Yeezys. When the self-proclaimed ‘slave to fashion’ first hit the rap world back in 2002, he was a whole different breed from his peers. The rapper went and rewrote what it meant to be 'macho' in hip-hop, creating a world where men could wear whatever ridiculous thing they wanted, and somehow still be cool.
Just recently, Ye finally got the praise he deserved by an enthusiast—probably just as eccentric — for his one-of-a-kind, crazy fashion choices.

In a recent interview with Billboard Hip-Hop, Paul Wall dubbed Ye a "visionary" while sharing his thoughts on some of the biggest Hip-Hop artists' grills. The Houston rapper, who is a grills expert himself, gave a shout-out to Ye for his bold, game-changing approach to his grill design, inspired by a movie. These grills are his iconic titanium set, which, believe it or not, are said to be worth a jaw-dropping $850,000.
"Kanye West, man, one of the biggest visionaries of all time, no doubt," Paul Wall said. He explained how the unique design took him back to his younger days, when he was a kid imitating the trend, but also gave a glimpse into what the future of grills could look like. "He’s one of the biggest trendsetters with grills, no question about it," Wall praised the 'Donda' rapper. While Ye’s grills have been getting a lot of love from fashion fans, his wife is not exactly on board with the shiny new look.
In fact, some reports earlier this year even hinted that the grills have been causing a bit of tension between the couple as well.
Ye’s grills are a nightmare for Bianca Censori
Ye has never really said why he chose to wear a set of titanium teeth, but he has hinted that it was inspired by the classic James Bond villain Jaws, who got his name because of his metal teeth. According to an insider who spoke to In Touch, Bianca Censori, Ye’s wife, supposedly said she is "disgusted" by his metallic teeth. She allegedly cannot say it out loud, though, because she thinks he is too "unstable."

The former Yeezy employee turned designer has reportedly been telling her friends that Ye’s grills make her want to "gag." However, her opinion could not be more different from Ye’s, who is convinced that the grills add an extra bling to his personality- something that even Paul Wall, the grill aficionado, totally agrees with.
