While fans of Taylor Swift rarely get to witness her off-stage personality in person, Travis Kelce and his family have had plenty of opportunities to do this. Not only did the Kelce clan mingle with the Swifts over the holiday season last month, but they have also had many rendezvous with the pop sensation at the NFL player’s games. So, it is safe to say that by now they all have opinions of Swift’s true nature.

The Chiefs star’s father, Ed Kelce, once relayed an incident that occurred at a stadium’s stands that proved to him the goodness of Swift’s heart. 

Ed Kelce gave his take on Taylor Swift

In October, Ed Kelce spoke to People about his first impressions of his son’s bae. Apparently, “the first time” he encountered Swift was at Arrowhead Stadium when he “noticed” something “very special” about her. The now 34-year-old started “picking up” trash left behind by spectators which was “scattered” everywhere. According to the Kelce patriarch, this proved that Swift was a “very genuine” person and not a “spoiled musician”.

He felt that she had not behaved like a “diva” and did not mind getting her hands dirty, like a responsible citizen. All in all, he left with the impression that she was a “very sweet, very charming, down-to-earth” individual. After all, first impressions do matter, especially when meeting your partner’s parents. And the NFL aficionado’s father is not the only family member Swift has managed to impress.

Lately, Travis Kelce’s sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce, has been dropping hints of her approval of the union between him and Swift. Over the last couple of months, she has engaged in social media posts featuring the pop sensation and liked posts that speak well of her. Not only that, she also has a connection with her brother-in-law’s beau due to their shared love for cats.

Even Kylie’s daughter, Wyatt, has been revealed to be a Swiftie by her mother. Through a TikTok video, Travis’ sister-in-law delighted fans by calling his niece a Swiftie! It seems like the rest of the world, the Kelce kingdom, has also been taken over by the Swift fever. So, Travis Kelce might not have trouble getting his family’s blessing if he chooses to take their relationship forward.
