Usher Could Use 11.98 Billion NFL Event to Break the 9-Year Drought of Touring
One cannot talk about the greatest R&B artists of the 90s without mentioning Usher Raymond IV. The American musician has over 80 million records worldwide and bagged numerous prestigious awards over the years. However, owing to his quieter lifestyle and inconsistent supply of new content, the artist faced a decline in popularity. Nevertheless, the 44-year-old has been giving it his all to bounce back with his performances at the 2024 Super Bowl.
The pop-R&B artist will be headlining the halftime show scheduled to take place at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium on February 11, 2024. However, as per reports, he might also kick-start his long-awaited world tour following the Super Bowl event.

After Usher confirmed on his Instagram about headlining the Super Bowl, fans have been in a frenzy of excitement to see the star perform at the event after 12 years. The last time Usher stepped onto the high-profile platform was in the year 2011 alongside the Black Eyed Peas. However, the most burning news of the hour is Usher’s potential tour announcement at the Super Bowl, as reported by Billboard.
Despite having a career of almost three decades, Usher had only four worldwide tours in his career. However, if the news is not simply hearsay, the ‘My Way’ creator could actually be using the world’s biggest stage to promote his tour in February. As per Billboard’s source, the Grammy Award-winning artist’s team has been looking for venues around the world for the tour. The same team will also be spending the four and a half months following the Super Bowl, to manage the world tour.
While Usher made a name for himself, he also inspired many rising artists who have made it big. In fact, he also knew that Kanye West had a promising future ahead before anyone.
