Ye, aka Kanye West, is very good at confusing the hell out of people. And with time, he is only getting better at it. Recently, he baffled the entire internet by sharing a throwback video of Pamela Anderson on his Instagram Story. The 2008 clip featured the star presenting a birthday cake to Playboy founder Hugh Hefner for his 82nd birthday. But, what caused controversy was the fact that Anderson was wearing nothing but heels in the clip. And now fans are wondering what the point was of sharing the explicit video after so many years. 

While we might not get a clear answer, the bizarre history between Ye and Pamela Anderson might offer a clue.

This is not the first time Ye and Pamela Anderson have had their paths cross in some way. Back in 2018, Anderson wrote a letter to Ye, urging him to support WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, who was facing some legal trouble at the time. In the letter, which TMZ later got ahold of, Anderson described Assange’s treatment as torture and asked Ye to use his influence to help spread the word. She even took a moment to praise Ye, saying she admired his “no filter” approach to life and believed his boldness could inspire real change.

 Anderson also had some links to Ye’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. At one point, Anderson even wrote an open letter to Kardashian, urging her to stop wearing fur. Despite these small overlaps, there has been no record of any significant drama between Ye and Anderson. That has not stopped fans from speculating, though. Ye's story has now sparked fears about his marriage to Bianca Censori being under threat.

Ye is no stranger to posting controversial content on social media—though it is usually photos of his wife, Bianca Censori. Just earlier this month, he shared images of Censori in a see-through bodysuit.
