With a history of creating a 'wonderland' out of her elaborate lyrics-turned-scripts, personas described so finely they might as well be sitting right beside you, Taylor Swift is also infamous for having an abundance of masterpieces sitting signed but sheltered in the safes of her studio, to her name. So many that an occasionally seep of them into the vastness of the internet does not make a difference, but also makes a lot of difference.
Because with how unimaginable it is to breach the security of an artist of Swift's stature, there are only a few possible reasons as to why such an incident would occur in said circumstances of utmost protection, to have one of your songs stealthily become a heated topic of discussion while not even having been on the internet yesterday.

While already having been partially leaked back in the February of 2023, and rumored to be a snippet from Taylor Swift's 2019 studio album, 'Lover', then facing a full unauthorized release in March of the same year, followed by quickly being scrapped off the face of the internet, 'Need' seems to have faced the brunt of it again, with a different version of the original leak circulating on Spotify, and the spectators have quite a few theories around its unforeseen reappearance.

Followers of the pop-singer have been faster than light taking note of the credits given under the songs particulars and are not surprised to find Taylor Swift listed as the writer and producer of the song, but also a certain Steven Wilmont, who is registered as the 'artist' of the song. Theories ranging from Steven Wilmont being a possible new pseudonym for the signer to probably an AI generated diddle by the person hiding under the moniker, who has allegedly done something like a few times in close history. There is also a theory that explains Steven Wilmont to be a legitimate Los Angeles based producer who is said to have worked with bigger and older acts like U2 and One Republic.
While there is an unsurprising and absolute storm being woven by the avid fan following of the pop-monster, it is safe to take note that this is not the first time a situation like this has made itself a home in Swift's long textbook of history, where she might even be uncovered to be the true perpetrator of such pleasant distress on her zealots.
