The transition period from 2023 to 2024 saw collaborations as the trend of the moment, and one duo that had the music industry gasping for breath was Ye aka Kanye West, and Ty Dolla $ign. Halfway through the year, the collaborative buzz has fizzled out, and rumors are swirling about the Atlanta rapper entering a solo era, even though his work with the ‘Vultures’ series alongside $ign remains unfinished. Ty Dolla $ign recently made his way over to FaZe Rug’s birthday party to leave his fans online in a frenzy with a ‘Vultures’ callback. Additionally, ‘Carnival’ has been officially submitted for Grammy nominations across categories including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Rap Song, and Best Rap Performance.
