Ty Dolla $ign Finally Drops the Big ‘Vultures 2’ Announcement Fans Have Been Dying to Hear

‘Vultures 2’ has begun to feel like seeing a mirage in the desert. The second volume of the 2024 album was announced in January of this year and was supposed to be released in March. However, since the drop of the album’s first volume in February, there has been no hint of its succeeding volumes. As fans had almost completely given up hope of hearing new music from Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, his collaborator dropped another bombshell announcement to heighten their anticipation.

Ty Dolla $ign has recently made a huge promise to fans who are on the edge of their seats for the release of 'Vultures 2'.

Ty Dolla $ign recently performed at the Cowboys Music Festival in Calgary, Canada. The rapper performed all the songs from ‘Vultures 1’, some from ‘Vultures 2’, and his other hits. However, it was his promise of ‘Vultures 2’ “coming very f**king soon” that had the audience erupt in loud cheers. This was not the first time $ign had made such promises. Last month, during an interview with Billboard, the rapper confirmed that the sequel is on the horizon.

$ign also shared updates on the second volume of ‘Vultures’ during a livestream with Russian YouTuber Vitaly Zdorovetskiy in June. “It’s coming soon. Any day now. It could be tomorrow,” teased the 42-year-old. He also hinted that the album would be released on Ye’s YZY app before teasing that there might not be three but four ‘Vultures’ volumes. However, despite dropping numerous teases, there is still no official release date for the album's next parts.

This has led fans across social media to speculate that $ign’s promises are merely to keep the buzz going.

Ty Dolla $ign's promises are not convincing fans

Even though there has been no official release of 'Vultures 2', fans have gotten a taste of the album through recent leaks. And the reaction to it, so far, has not matched the once-glowing reception of Ye's work. With that in mind, along with the recent talks of Ye losing relevance in the industry to the extent that he has contemplated retirement, fans are not really excited about 'Vultures 2' anymore. In fact, they feel that Ye should make a strong comeback with real inspiration, not just pumping out mediocre albums.

Meanwhile, the internet consensus is that Ty Dolla $ign is straight-up lying, and the album is nowhere near ready for release.

'Vultures 2' has seen endless delays ever since its first announcement. Judging by fans' reactions, it seems the hype for the volume is starting to fizzle out. Nonetheless, there is still hope among Ye fanatics that he will come back with a bang, reclaiming the charts and breaking records once again in no time.
