"Tummy flutters"- Camila Cabello Gives a Shout-Out to Taylor Swift’s Track From ‘The Tortured Poets Department'
Camila Cabello has always been a devoted Swiftie - not to mention a close friend of Taylor Swift as well. When it was first announced that she would be warming up for Swift on her Reputation Tour, the ‘Senorita’ star posted an ecstatic video of herself celebrating the feat while also admitting that she used to have a Taylor Swift poster in her room back when she was 14. Despite the years that have passed, Cabello's love and respect for the billionaire pop star has not changed.
As Taylor Swift dropped her latest, ‘The Tortured Poets Department', Cabello quickly singled out her favorite track from the collection.

Camila Cabello recently showered Taylor Swift with love by giving a special shout-out to a track from 'The Tortured Poets Department' album. Sharing a screenshot from Spotify on her Instagram story, she was seen listening to 'So High School,' with a simple yet heartfelt caption, "tummy flutters" and a flurry of blue butterflies. Not stopping there, Cabello tagged Taylor Swift's Instagram handle with a message that read, “ily bro,” spreading even more sweetness between the two.
Swift and Cabello's friendship sprouted from their mutual connection, Austin Mahone. In a chat with Bustle, the 'Shameless' songstress reflected on how she cultivated a meaningful friendship with the superstar following her exit from Fifth Harmony in 2016. Recounting a time when she leaned on her mom for company, Cabello shared how Swift not only became her friend but also set an example for building and nurturing friendships. And when it comes to Cabello's track preference for 'The Tortured Poets Department,' it holds a special place for multiple reasons.
The real highlight of 'So High School', however, seems to be the sweet references allegedly made by Taylor Swift to Travis Kelce.

Taylor Swift's new album is not only about Joe Alwyn or Matty Healy, as fans are speculating. 'So High School' began with Taylor Swift singing, "I feel so high school every time I look at you / I wanna find you in a crowd just to hide from you". The line subtly hinted at the attention her and Travis Kelce's relationship attracted, likening it to being lost in a "crowd" of public scrutiny. She also recalled a moment when Kelce mentioned her in an interview before they even crossed paths. "Are you gonna marry, kiss, or kill me / It's just a game, but really / I'm bettin' on all three for us two," Swift sang.
In a 2016 interview with AfterBuzz TV, the NFL star played a game of Kiss, Marry, Kill and picked Swift to kiss. The 'Red' creator also sang, "I feel like laughing in the middle of practice / To that impression you did of your dad again". The mention of "practice" was clearly a nod to the Kansas City Chiefs star's training sessions with the team, while the latter part of the line playfully referenced her boyfriend's father, Ed Kelce. It is safe to say that 'So High School' holds a special place not only for Camila Cabello but also for Tayvis fans.
