Addressing how “unfair” the NFL fans’ reaction had been, the host jumped up straight to defend Swift, urging them to “just let her live”. Furthermore, Noah also won many hearts by resorting to acting on “revenge” “every time someone says, Taylor Swift”.

Trevor Noah even managed to woo the sonic storm Taylor Swift herself when she entered the room in her regal monochromatic palette. Noah went all out with his cheeky takes and said, “As she moves through the crowd, the local economy around those tables improves”. While one reckons the hype and brand value she has catalyzed for the NFL and the Chiefs alike, the joke even made Swift make a turn to laugh it out. 

Even though there is no doubt that Noah rightfully fulfilled his role in boosting the crowd with his hosting skills, the online threads seem to have found their favorite charmer amidst this.

Golden Globes’ host Jo Koy might have failed in making Taylor Swift and the audience roll out in laughter, but Trevor Noah seems to be compensating for just the right amount. With his humble jibes and defensive strategy in making the evening all the more lively, Noah might be the favorite celebrity host of the season for now. At least the Swifties have waved their green flags for the comedian.

Most fans were drooling over Trevor Noah’s sensible takeups. However, fans did not leave the chance to take a jab at Jo Koy to school him about a “real host”.

As one knows very well, social threads are nothing without the touch of overriding reactions. Here too, the polarisation was clear, but all in support of the singer Taylor Swift. Although the Golden Globes controversy with Jo Koy had almost diminished the possibility of moving ahead of the salty feedback, it seems Trevor Noah has done well to leave a fresh memory of not-so-bitter imprints.
