While her personal life with NFL player Travis Kelce has brought pure bliss, rapper Travis Scott has posed a significant challenge against the songstress in a war of charts. Swift has maintained her spot on the top of the charts ever since  'The Tortured Poets Department' release with a mix of marketing strategy and musical brilliance. 

While players like Billie Eilish came and went, it was only until Scott's 'Days Before Rodeo' stepped in, threatening to dethrone her and Sabrina Carpenter from the top spot, igniting a musical showdown amongst the stars. 

As reported by Charts Data, Travis Scott's 'Days Before Rodeo' is all set to make history with the largest US digital album sales week since bundles were removed from the Billboard 200 in late 2020. The mixtape is projected to surpass Taylor Swift's ‘The Tortured Poets Department', which previously held the top spot with 274K sales.

Not just Taylor Swift but the rapper has also expected to overtake every other artist in acquaintance with the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer. Following an immediate showdown post variant drop, reports also revealed that Travis Scott's ‘Days Before Rodeo' has potentially blocked Sabrina Carpenter's 'Short n' Sweet' from reaching the number one spot on the Billboard 200.

The number of milestones achieved and yet to be achieved by the 'FE!N' rapper does not end here. 

Previously held by the rap god, Eminem, Travis Scott’s latest release is said to be the biggest debut for a rap album on the coveted list of Billboard 2024. Also, in terms of sales, the rapper is prepared well enough to break his own record of 252K pure for the album ‘Utopia’, let alone Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter.

And while the rapper continues to take on the music titans all by himself, his biggest ally Ye, who formerly went as Kanye West, has also joined the war. The 'Donda' rapper has picked his side and has made it evident enough for all that “There is no Travis Scott without Kanye West”. Nonetheless, the race to climb the ladder is nowhere near over, and official numbers are yet to be out confirming the predictions.
