Travis Scott Shows His Staunch Support for Ye Amidst Ongoing Feud With Adidas
The longstanding feud between Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, and Adidas has been well-documented across all media channels. And there is no indication that this feud will ease off anytime soon. Despite the public fallout, Adidas has managed to turn a profit by tackling the mountain of leftover sneakers from their severed ties with Ye. Amidst the verbal jabs traded between the German sportswear giant and Ye, as well as his loyal fanbase, another staunch supporter of the rapper has stepped up to the plate.
Travis Scott, a protégé of Ye, recently made a subtle gesture to affirm his allegiance to the 'Donda' rapper.

Travis Scott recently hit up college for a special merchandise pop-up back in his hometown, at the University of Texas at Austin campus on Thursday, April 4. While hanging with his fans, Scott got asked to autograph a pair of Yeezys, made by Adidas. To which the ‘goosebumps’ rapper said, “I’m not signing no Yeezys unless they made by Ye”. When Adidas pulled the plug on the Yeezy deal, they made it clear they still had the rights to Ye's sneaker line.
Even though Ye could not do much about it, he did not hold back from throwing shade at the sportswear giant whenever he could. After hitting No. 1 on the charts for the first time in over a decade with 'Vultures', Ye kept the drama going with his album rollout, publicly axing one of his marketers and calling out Adidas. He accused the company of trying to "destroy” him along with a bunch of other celebs on Instagram. Days after causing a storm with his fiery attacks on Instagram, he pulled a plug on the platform.
After he put out a passionate rant about the change of his name from Kanye West to Ye, the rapper stirred chaos as he drove fans into confusion through his sudden Instagram absence.

Ye made headlines by deleting his Instagram account following his recent public statements regarding his legal name change to Ye. The rapper's social media presence, with 20 million followers, is now nowhere to be found. This happened right after the 46-year-old icon went on a tirade on the platform about people still trying to "force" him into using his old name. His name change got the green light from a Los Angeles judge last October.
Ye is known for dropping controversial posts before swiftly deleting them to limit the shares on his page. And fans wasted no time in speculating about what went down. As per a Reddit thread, reported by Mirror, fans are certain that he just hit the block button on every one. Others suspect his page got pulled down temporarily due to the controversial stuff he has been posting. Nonetheless, despite the never-ending controversies hanging over his head, the rapper has built up some of the most loyal supporters in the industry, just like Travis Scott.
