While it does mark a new trend in the music industry, it also marks where artists bypass traditional labels. Hence, Joe Budden remains skeptical, stating "I don't believe those numbers for a second,” crumbling Travis Scott's success further deep into the already existing quagmire of controversies.

While Scott stans are already smelling a scam coming in, fans of Sabrina Carpenter are alleging the rapper of blocking her way to higher up in the charts.
