In making beats that drop and music that sticks, Travis Scott has openly followed in the footsteps of Kanye West. The two hip-hop artists have long shared a history of collaboration and mutual admiration. However, the impact of the 24 Grammy-winning artist remains profound on his prodigy. Many times now, the young ‘Utopia’ rapper has proclaimed as well as cherished the influence of the Vultures’ singer and he did not shy away from doing it once more.
During the final few days of his Circus Maximus wrapping up and just shy of Ye’s album drop, Scott lapped up a heartfelt advice from the mogul.

Kanye West has called Travis Scott his “son” at one point in time. In return, the latter has remained explicitly vocal about the former’s contribution to his music. Previewing that dynamic once again, the singer evoked the hip-hop legend during his 28th January Circus Maximus tour for ‘Utopia’ in Miami. Scott proceeded to perform ‘Praise God’ after prefixing a piece of advice from his 46-year-old mentor around “how hard they try to push your back against the wall”.
Travis Scott shared some advice he received from Kanye West before performing 'Praise God' at Circus Maximus in Miami tonight:

In 2012, Ye signed Travis Scott with his music label, Good Music. Thereafter, a decade of flourishing music and popularity has come to the latter, for which he has publicly mentioned the ‘Donda’ singer as his mentor. Furthermore, the ‘Aye’ singer has dropped the very same advice at his previous ‘Utopia’ concerts as well, which are now en route to conclusion. After starting with an appearance by West on October 11, 2023, in Rome, the Circus Maximus tour will end on February 5, 2024.
In the meantime, several fans celebrated the reunion of two of the most popular faces in the genre, even as many called Ye to drop ‘Vultures’.
Fans call for collaboration just after Vultures scare
Kanye West dropped a startling ‘Vultures’ delay scare after all of a sudden he cleared out his entire Instagram feed. The deletion has yet to find any answer or even post additions by the rapper. Regardless, Travis Scott’s callback to Ye garnered massive praise as fans shared their raw emotions. Many called upon the duo’s friendship while others went straight ahead and asked the ‘Flashing Lights’ singer to clear the confusion regarding his album.
