Travis Kelce’s Ex Blames His "new situation" Taylor Swift, for Leaving No Space to the Former Partners

While Taylor Swift's love life has always been in public either through her own lyrical references or because of papparazi's incessant obsession with her every move, Travis Kelce was only heralded into the spotlight after becoming Swift's boyfriend. The spike in not just his but the NFL's popularity since the pop star's entry has now become an undeniable fact, ultimately making Swift and NFL sister entities.

This collaboration has brought about a sweet love story in the public eye, but it has also abruptly put the blanket on relationships that the two stars were involved in before. This may have worked out great for the songstress, but Travis Kelce found himself to be a deer in the headlights.

Taylor Swift's previous relationship, which can more aptly be termed a fling owing to its whirlwind nature, was a well-known musician, and the one before that is a well-known actor. Owing to her mostly being surrounded by them, Swift has more often than not reached for the stars. However, this did not spare Travis Kelce's ex, Kayla Nicole, from scrutiny. Nicole revealed in an Unapologetically Angel interview that Travis Kelce's "new situation" does not leave them any room to acknowledge each other, implying how the intense media attention would end up causing wreckage.

While Nicole did say that she and Kelce have been robbed of the opportunity to interact with each other, she would not mind giving him a nod if she were to see him. Moreover, she also thanked the interviewer as she remarked how Kelce and Nicole looked good together, putting any rumors about any bad blood to rest.

The unexpected 'The Tortured Poets Department' album was not just unexpected in the way it was dropped when fans were awaiting 'Reputation (Taylor's version)' but also due to it content. With more lyrical Easter eggs pointing towards Matty Healy than Joe Alwyn and a few loved up lines for Travis Kelce, the album was a tad bit hard to digest as clear by the critics' review. While Swift got her chance to sing her heart out, rumors surrounded Healy and especially Alwyn, who had shared years with Taylor Swift.

Matty Healy even went on to comment that he had not heard the song about him, which fans believe is a very sugar-coated diss track. However, Alwyn has stuck by his oath of silence and has only requested respect for both him and Taylor Swift, as they navigate the aftermath of a six-year-long relationship.
