The NFL star made a play for the singer by attempting to give her his phone number. Recently, the athlete opened up about the moment while interacting with the media ahead of the Super Bowl. The 34-year-old said, “I didn’t even think it would have landed and got a response from her.”

Kelce continued, “We’re here and we’re all happy I know that.” With Swift not only meeting his mom, Donna Kelce, but hitting it off with his brother- and sister-in-law, Jason and Kylie Kelce, as well, there is no doubt that the couple is happy. While fans seem to be enjoying watching the couple’s relationship grow stronger, some seem to be hoping that the singer and the football star will be tying the knot sometime soon.

Thankfully, the NFL star managed to intercept any engagement speculation that surrounded him and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

At a conference, he said, “I’m focused on getting this ring,” while he referenced the winner’s gift. It looks like fans might not be getting the proposal they had hoped for. However, their relationship seems to be reaching new heights after Swift met the rest of Kelce’s family.
