As a result, X swiftly suspended his account for violating hate speech policies.

Ye's assertion that "all white people are racist" among other tweets went so far that it got him restricted from social media. It was not just one tweet, it was more of a recurring theme in his social media and interviews around that time when he was rolling out antisemitic comments.  And honestly, for many it was not hard to see why it blew up. Things got so heated that both X and Instagram finally stepped in and locked his accounts down.

Ye's "Me too is a woke agenda" tweet, dating from back in sometime around 2022, set off a firestorm of controversy. Coming at a time when discussions around harassment were prominent as the Me Too movement was beginning to catch wind, this statement was seen by many as dismissive and insensitive. The popular Me Too movement, which aims to support survivors and bring awareness was characterized by Ye as part of a "woke agenda,"  receiving widespread backlash.

One of Ye's tweet on the 7th of February said , "Jewish people actually hate white people and use black people," triggered a firestorm of criticism.  This statement peddled a harmful conspiracy theory.  It was not just a random thought, it echoed age-old tales that have fueled anti-Semitism for centuries.  Soon after the tweet was posted, it was condemned by many, with accusations of anti-Semitism levelling against Ye in minutes!

"I'm a Nazi and I love Hitler". These words, tweeted by Ye in a recurring theme sent shockwaves across the globe. The immediate reaction was one of widespread condemnation.  Accusations of antisemitism, a deep-seated prejudice against Jewish people, rained down on the rapper.  Many saw the statement as not just offensive, but a dangerous endorsement of hateful ideology.  It also raised questions about Ye's mental state, with some suggesting his words were a cry for help rather than genuine beliefs.

Ye's influence extends far beyond music, especially into the fashion world with his Yeezy brand. However, another tweet has ignited a firestorm of criticism.  "Yeezy does not hire fat or ugly people," the tweet stated, revealing a deeply problematic sentiment.  This declaration was not only insensitive but reeked of discrimination, sparking anger and outrage for its blatant body-shaming comment. Many even pointed out how such discriminatory hiring practices are not only unethical but potentially illegal leaving many questioning the values of the Yeezy brand.

Late in 2022 and early into 2023, Ye's social media presence was marked by a series of deeply troubling anti-Semitic posts. Among these was the statement, "Jewish people don't run me no more," a remark which raised an immediate uproar. As criticism against his anti-semitic comment mounted up, Ye did not back off but instead doubled down declaring, "I'm never apologizing for my Jewish comments". 

This defiant stance further fueled the controversy, adding to the concerns about his views and also led to major backlash in the real world for Ye including fallouts from Adidas and Balenciaga. 

Ye set social media ablaze with a string of fiery tweets after attending the Grammy Awards with his wife, Bianca Censori. Censori's daring, see-through dress turned heads and sparked debates about Ye's influence over her fashion choices. In a fiery all-caps rant, Ye declared, "I HAVE DOMINION OVER MY WIFE... SHE DEFINITELY WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO IT WITHOUT MY APPROVAL." This bold statement added fuel to the controversy, leaving fans buzzing.

In his recent jaw-dropping social media outburst, Ye not only took to X, to declare his admiration for Adolf Hitler, stating, "I'm a Nazi", but this shocking proclamation was part of a series of antisemitic remarks that left the public reeling. Amid the chaos, Ye also asked former President Donald Trump to pardon his "brother," Sean Diddy Combs, who faced grave legal charges. 

The backlash was swift and severe, leading Ye to delete all his tweets in an attempt to mitigate the damage, but the damage was already done with multiple accounts re-tweeting his statements, he had already lit the match for the fire and there was no going back now! Even after bans and deleted tweets, his words still echo across pop culture, reminding everyone why Ye remains one of the most controversial figures in music and beyond.
