In a recent episode of the Making Space podcast, Hoda Kotb opened up to her co-anchor Erin Andrews about a conversation with her 4-year-old. She said when she had spent some time with her daughter, Hope, Taylor Swift’s ‘Enchanted’ had come on. The host revealed that she was quoting the words to her adopted daughter and she got “choked up.” She ended up saying that she told her daughter that it reminded her of the first time she held her.

While the song surely brought up nostalgic memories for the mom of two, Hope also expanded her vocabulary by asking her the meaning of the song title. Although it comes as no surprise that Swift’s songs can invoke powerful feelings, the artist has been recently caught up in some powerful feelings of her own. In fact, the singer even put them on display at her recent performance.
