This 2015 Travis Scott Song Has a Surprising Link to North West’s Style
The bond between Travis Scott and the Kardashian – West children is certainly strong. The rapper may not be married to Kylie Jenner, but he shares two children, Stormi and Aire Webster, with her. Despite their on/off relationship, Scott shares a close relationship with the Kardashian-Jenner family. Their proximity only increased following Kim Kardashian’s marriage to Kanye West.
The famous couple also produced four children, North, Psalm, Saint, and Chicago, before eventually finalizing a divorce last year. Scott likely got inspired by this family tree and it evidently showed in one of his songs that was supposed to be in Ye’s album.

North West has enjoyed a life of fame from an early age, thanks to her famous parents. But the young influencer also once influenced ‘Uncle’ Travis Scott’s song. According to a Tweet, the 2015 song ‘3500’ was inspired by the fur coat that the TikTok star got as a gift. The fur coat bought back then cost Kanye West and Kim Kardashian a whopping $3500, and Jody Wolfe and Marc Kaufman designed it.
The track was originally meant for Ye’s ‘Life of Pablo’ album, but eventually ended up in Scott’s own album called ‘Rodeo’. “30s in the city movin’ slow, $3, 500 for the coat,” said the lyrics. Apparently, every beat was made by Scott and his team, featuring Future and 2 Chainz. It earned the Gold Certification by RIAA and made its debut on the Billboard Chart.
The 32-year-old singer could not wait for West’s album to drop and decided to release it by launching his own album. Regardless, he shares a good connection with both the rapper and his daughter.

Scott shares both personal and professional links to Kanye West and Kim Kardashian
Travis Scott’s children are North West’s cousins from their mother’s side. He has also been a long-time producer of Kanye West. He signed West’s G.O.O.D Music label back in 2013. Together, they have worked on songs like ‘Watch’, ‘P*ss on your Grave’, ‘Praise God’, etc.
Although post-Ye’s separation from Kim Kardashian, she was reportedly upset with Scott siding with West and hanging out with him. With the ‘Donda’ singer’s return to music, it will be seen if they collaborate again in the future.
