After a thrilling April with the most-awaited drop by Taylor Swift with ‘The Tortured Poets Department’, the pop star has returned to her natural habitat, the Eras Tour stage. The 34-year-old recently graced the first of her European leg in Paris, where fans were treated to seven of her new tracks from the latest album. While fans were already on their toes with a fresh lineup of music from the pop sensation, she had fans at a further loss for words by flaunting a riddled shirt.

At the Paris stop of the Eras Tour on May 9, Taylor Swift not only ushered in her record-breaking 11th studio album tracks to her set lineups but also flaunted a t-shirt, reading, “THIS IS NOT TAYLOR’S VERSION”. As the pictures began circulating online from her showtime in La Defense Arena, Paris, fans had to resort to a string of fan theories to decode the underlying message that she wanted to convey to her fans.

Conventionally, Taylor’s Versions are the re-records of the albums that Swift has released in the past with refined tunes and other touches. Right now, among her albums, ‘Fearless’, ‘Red’, ‘Speak Now’, and ‘1989’ have their Taylor’s Versions while fans have been long awaiting ‘Reputation (Taylor’s Version)’. Interestingly, when fans were expecting the latter, the pop star announced ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ instead during this year’s Grammy.

While Swifties were busy all March and April breaking down these secret messages, May has been no exception ever since the artist flaunted the sleeve secret. Hence, fans wasted no time brainstorming their way to decode the cipher Swift planted.
