Her Stranger Things feature had found the topmost spot on Spotify. And now, Kate Bush is certainly running up the hill! 

Notably, almost a year after its feature on the Netflix series, and 35 years after its original release, her ‘Running Up That Hill’ has now surpassed one billion streams on Spotify. According to Chart Data, it is for the first time that she has made such a breakthrough achievement. Seems like Stranger Things’ nostalgic world is perhaps transforming the decade, and retro love is taking up the central stage.

Meanwhile, fans once again take the opportunity to thank Stranger Things for bringing them back to such mellifluous melodies.

After the 1985 Billboard Hot saw new milestones, everyone including Bush and Stranger Things’ Shawn Levy expressed their gratitude on Twitter. And now, almost one year after, it is certain that fans have insanely tracked down Bush’s creation. Fans also take this opportunity to thank Stranger Things and call this achievement a “Stranger Things impact.”
