“They gon’ figure that sh*t”- 21 Savage Shares His Two Cents on the Ongoing Drake vs Metro Boomin Beef on Instagram Live
The hip-hop world is abuzz with the escalating feud between two of its heavyweight producers, Drake and Metro Boomin. As if Kendrick Lamar’s brutal victory against 6 God was not enough, there is a new but pre-existing beef taking shape once again. The tension between the two has been simmering for years, with each side trading subtle jabs and diss tracks. In light of his secondhand involvement, the British rapper took to his Instagram live stories to weigh in on the ongoing beef between the two producers. Making it clear that he has no particular sides to favor, Savage said, “Metro my brother and Drake my brother, they gon’ figure that shit out eventually,” while chatting with fans online. However, when it comes to dissing other rappers, 21 Savage is no less.
Prior to this statement, the 'American Dream' rapper flunked his fans on the live session asking them not to bother him with questions on the beef between his ‘brothers’ “Don't keep coming on to my muthafu*king Live talking about no muthafuc*ing beef," said the rapper before affirming that they will soon make amends. The rapper has been a frequent Metro Boomin collaborator while also having significant stakes in Boomin’s most hated Drake track, ‘Her Loss’.
Although it has been going on in full swing, fans hardly know where the beef is rooted.
