Kanye West has used Frank Ocean vibes to drop his Yeezy 10 collection. The ‘Donda’ singer has come out of his shell after months, to get back into fashion. With every season, the artist manages to intrigue fans and have buyers queued up in line to get their hands on his merchandise. The Yeezy season 9 dropped back in October 2022, through a stormy phase for him.

For a company that first began in 2009, it has brought evolution to the fashion industry, making up the majority of Ye’s wealth as well. But along with the clothes, it is his launch and presentation that remains a magnificent eye candy even today.

The Yeezy Season 10 was doused in the aura of Frank Ocean

Ye’s plans to drop Yeezy season 10 came out like most of his other recent activities- sudden and unexpected. While he himself remains absent from social media, fans or collaborators give updates on his activities. A Twitter page by the name Donda Times posted a video of the YZY event, dropping details into it. The video showed the shooting in action as Frank Ocean’s ‘Self Control’ played in the background. It screened around the entire shooting area, capturing the moonlight with a backdrop of music and candles.

Models could be seen standing in queues, looking straight up as photographers captured them. The models had been specifically chosen based on their shaved heads during a recent audition held. They were dressed in simple shades of fitted beige tops and loose pants. Another recent post showed them holding the candles in a dark area for a late-night shoot. The rapper apparently got to work immediately after seeing friend Jerry Lorenzo’s Fear of God fashion show.

As for the Frank Ocean, it is unarguably one of his biggest hits, and remains one of the few rappers, still on good terms with Ye.

This is not the first time that Frank Ocean has been connected to YZY. His voice echoed even during the brand’s season 3 launch. The Coachella performer and his brother were spotted wearing Yeezy 350s when it was still new. They previously collaborated on several songs, including ‘New Slaves’ and ‘Frank’s Track’.

It is to be seen how the entire upcoming collection turns out and whether it is successful in the market.
