Just a few hours before the big drop, an update on the guest artists involved in the project fueled the excitement among fans.
The popular page Pop Base recently shared this update on X, formerly Twitter, and out a list of alleged artists featured on Nicki Minaj’s new album ‘Pink Friday 2’. The list included artists like Billie Eilish, J. Cole, Lil Wayne, Tate Kobang, Drake, Lourdiz, Lil Uzi Vert, Skillibeng, Skeng, Future, and Tasha Cobbs. Now that the song is out, turned out, some of the artists from the alleged guest list were actually featured in the album.

The album featured J. Cole, Lil Wayne, Tate Kobang, Drake, Future, Lourdiz, Lil Uzi Vert, Skillibeng, and Skeng. While artists like Billie Eilish were absent from the album, Minaj had sampled her track ‘when the party’s over’ for ‘Are You Gone Already’, the opening track of the album. However, the album did feature the promised songs ‘Super Freaky Girl’ and ‘Last Time I Saw You’, along with the song that Minaj surprised her fans with at this year’s VMAs.
This latest update, however, opened the floodgates to countless possibilities for what the album might offer, ahead of the release.

And now with this new update, the excitement among fans heightened even more. They took to X to share their eagerness for the release to see how these artistic collaborations would unfold. While some were thrilled about the alleged artists involved, others were not very pleased.
Many fans expected artists like Rihanna and Ariana Grande to be on the list. This cast a little shadow of disappointment among fans.
This disappointment, however, did not kill their spirit, and they still expressed their excitement about the release of Minaj’s first studio album in five years.

The inclusion of artists like J. Cole and Tasha Cobbs compensated for the absence of other fan-favorite artists. The Gag City is gearing up to be the visual canvas for Nicki Minaj’s upcoming album, which was also shared by the rapper herself in her artwork. This will be Minaj’s fifth studio album, released under the wings of Young Money Entertainment and Republic Records.
