The Australian beauty boasts a whole collection of the second-skin, monochrome bodysuits that are a Yeezy trademark. And when she is about town with Ye, see-through leotards paired with tights are her weapon of choice for creating the oomph factor.

In 2023, reports started circulating about Kanye West attempting to steal the spotlight from his ex-wife Kim Kardashian and her well-known SKIMS body tape. This talk began as West appeared to introduce a controversial new Yeezy collection through his wife. The 46-year-old artist found a new muse in his partner. Censori also wasted no time in seizing the opportunity to model for her husband’s brand.

Mowalola Ogunlesi took to Instagram, sharing pictures of the 28-year-old Censori in an eyebrow-raising ensemble. The outfit featured black tape strategically placed across her body to obscure some specific areas. She completed her look with a pair of black thigh-high boots. Although Kanye West was nowhere seen in the promotional campaign of the line, it was believed to be from his fashion brand. 

This followed Censori’s nylon fashion spree, which is a chapter that all but the Italian peninsula might never forget.

With restricted hand movement, West was seen readjusting her outfit several times, creating an uncomfortable spectacle. During the same Italian escapade, she opted to go barefoot alongside Kanye West, wearing a top seemingly crafted from nylon. 

These unconventional fashion choices did not escape criticism from both netizens and Italians. Following the Italy controversies, fans started flooding social media with speculations suggesting that Kanye West has been influencing Bianca Censori’s fashion without her will. However, after a deeper dive into Censori’s history, all her nylon ensembles have now started to make sense.

Australia-born Bianca Censori became a part of the Yeezy team in November 2020, assuming the role of Head of Architecture for the brand as per her LinkedIn profile. Growing up in Melbourne, she pursued a degree in architecture at a local university. While still a student, Censori established her own business called Nylons. In a 2016 interview with the fashion and culture website i-D, the then-21-year-old shared her journey of starting Nylons while still in high school.

Nylon outfits worn by Censori were her designs and aesthetic predating her relationship with Ye. With her own brand and exotic fashion choices, Bianca Censori, despite all the evidence, has pleaded not guilty to the classic trope of Kanye West’s ex-lovers. Moreover, given how Ye is focused on making sure she is the highlight of his Instagram comeback, there may just be a Yeezy and Nylons collaboration.
