“The monster’s not real”- The Reason for ‘Taylor’s Versions’, Scooter Braun Is All Too Well About Taylor Swift Beef 5 Years Later
As Taylor Swift continues to set new records of success with every step she takes, one is often reminded of her journey, and the many tumultuous twists that it went through. From bad breakups on phones to stereotyping, and then came the worst of it all, as Scooter Braun took the master rights to Swift's six albums. And while she has taken on everything with a stone-clad chin and grace, the drama that ensued is encapsulated in a documentary titled Taylor Swift vs Scooter Braun: Bad Blood, something that Braun has commented on.
Having a penthouse a bit above the one who shall not be named in the Taylor Swift arch-nemesis list, Scooter Braun has reflected on his beef with the Grammy winning singer.

What ensued after Scooter Braun took over Big Machine and ultimately the master rights to some of Taylor Swift's best work was the beautiful chain reaction that was 'Taylor's Version'. The re-release of her albums and the gob-smacking success cemented Swift's position in the industry for good. However, Scooter Braun believes that all of this could have been avoided if they had simply had a face-to-face conversation, as per Braun's statement at a Bloomberg Screentime event as reported by Variety. "The monster's not real," he said, referring to himself.
Apart from his two cents on handling a quarrel, Scooter Braun also went on to say that it was time that everyone moved on, given that it had been almost half a decade since the drama unfolded. The timing of his statements, however, could not have come at a more ironic time as the Easter eggs signaling towards the 'Reputation (Taylor's version)' drop are at an all-time high.
While Scooter Braun might be all too well with the entire ordeal, Swifties remember each thorn that nicked them on their way to the ultimate pedestal, thus ferociously demanding a 'Reputation' re-release.

With the hype that surrounds 'Reputation,' one might mistake it to be a new and upcoming album of Taylor Swift and not one that is be re-released. However, given the conditions under which it was released and more importantly, the silence that followed before the storm all packed together to make 'Reputation' a phenomenon rather than just an album. With Swift still changing names and shooting subtle shots at Ye, formerly known as Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, who is to say that she would not send a few jabs Scooter Braun's way.
Often defined as her revenge arc, the 'Reputation' era is adorned by snakes and leather prints, which the singer has lately been incorporating a lot in her outfits recently. However, the ultimate cherry on top came in the form of a fan-gifted necklace that paid the perfect ode to 'Reputation', further cementing fan beliefs about a re-release coming soon. Therefore, while Braun may not believe in the monster, given how it urged Taylor Swift to re-record six of her albums, it may very much be real.
