The Fate of the Kanye West Event in Reggio Emilia Teeters on the Outcome of an Upcoming Meeting
For around two years, fans have been counting the days to catch the rap icon, Kanye West, in action. Ever since West got hit with the anti-Semitism and white supremacist allegations, the rapper disappeared from the music scene. After he made a special appearance at Travis Scott’s ‘Utopia’ concert, fans began anticipating a new studio album release from Ye. While an album is definitely cooking up inside Ye’s head, the chances for his first live performance after 2021 seem slim.
Ye has been planning to stage a comeback in the music spotlight with a grand concert at Reggio Emilia, Italy. However, because of not having a proper permit, the future of the concert is now hanging in the balance of an upcoming meeting.

On October 7, ReggiOnline shared a report confirming Ye building a stage for his upcoming show at the RCF Arena in Reggio Emilia. As per the report, the ‘Donda’ rapper could be hosting this event on the evening of October 20th. However, considering the ongoing tension between the authorities and the rapper for a permit, the concert could face a further delay. As per a recent report by ReggiOnline, the fate of this upcoming concert lies in the outcome of a Monday meeting.
The report also stated that Ye did not make any formal requests or send out documents to the government palace. The documents arrived at the palace on Friday around 1:30 PM and will undergo examination by the officials. However, the decision will only come to the forefront after the meeting of the Committee for Public Order and Safety.
After upsetting his Italian in-laws, only time will tell if Ye would spare his Italian fans from feeling let down.

Following the Utopia concert, Ye took to a Europe tour with his wife, Bianca Censori. The trip was a vacation for the namesake, as the couple went the extra mile to make sure they stayed in the headlines. Whether it was the speculations regarding Ye working on his new album or the series of controversies that followed the newlyweds in every corner of the continent, Ye and Censori kept people talking about them. However, they may have rubbed some of their Italian relatives in the wrong way.
As per Censori’s cousin, Fabiola Censori, a resident of Giulianova, the couple did not make an effort to visit their Italian family despite being in the country. The cousin even revealed that she never met Censori and wished to meet her someday. She expressed her desire to show her cousin where her father, his brothers, sisters, and grandparents grew up.
