While it is no surprise that fans of Kanye West go to crazy extremes, Adin Ross has taken it to another level. In a video on X (formerly Twitter), the streamer can be seen telling his followers that he got scammed. He said that he had “paid $200,000” for an unreleased Ye and Travis Scott song. However, once he started listening to it, the realization that it was AI-generated dawned on him.
In the clip, he goes on to ask his followers if they “want to hear it,” before playing the song for everyone. While the song is evidently made by AI, he did not realize it until it was too late. Ross called himself “an idiot,” while letting the song continue to play. By the end of his video, he begins to lose his confidence that the song was an artificially created version.
While the world might never know the true answer behind the track, one thing is for sure, Adin Ross was not pleased with his purchase. However, with various Kanye West leaks coming out, at least the streamer will not have to drop another $200k on more unreleased tracks.
