<p>Kim Kardashian may have moved on from<a href="https://www.netflixjunkie.com/tag/kanye-west/"> Kanye West</a>, but not from the drama that unfolded post their separation with him. With Season 3 of <em>The Kardashians</em> streaming, the socialite is opening up more and more about the various factors that led her to break up with one of the most successful rappers in the industry. But it was his on-screen behavior mixed with the off-screen one that led to their eventual divorce and that, too, was not an easy one.</p>
<p>Hoping that the third time would be it for her, the SKIMS owner married Ye back in 2014. Four kids and several years later, they headed towards a very stormy end. But with that came the mother&#8217;s efforts to keep Ye&#8217;s public antics away from the eyes and ears of their kids for their own well-being.</p>
<h2>How Kim Kardashian keeps her children away from the Kanye West drama</h2>
<p>The third season of <em>The Kardashians</em> is bigger, bolder, and with no strings to hold back. In the recent episodes, she gave an insight into her journey with Ye. <a href="https://toofab.com/2023/05/31/kim-kardashian-what-kids-know-about-kanye-west-public-attacks/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">According to TooFab</a>, even the socialite who is used to the media got tired of the constant battle. She could not handle it and was overwhelmed by Ye attacking her and the Kardashians. <strong>The 42-year-old felt that although the children were protected from the public news, the messy divorce affected them as well. </strong><em>&#8220;That&#8217;s the tragic part of the whole story</em>&#8220;, she said in the recent episode.</p>

<p>While there were internal issues, problems began when Ye started making controversial comments<strong>. She had to go behind his back and apologize to people for another chance every time he screwed up somehow</strong>. This also meant spending hours cleaning up behind him for so long. She struggled to understand how someone whom she loved once is now attacking her so brutally and publically.</p>

<h2>What did Kanye West do to upset his ex-wife?</h2>
<p>After announcing their divorce, one of their internal disputes led him to release their private chats online. He attacked her about the leaked s*x tape as well as her relationship with Pete Davidson. One time, he also revealed their kid&#8217;s school name, leading to a security risk for them.</p>
