This year’s lineup looks promising to serve everything from genre-defying bangers to soul-stirring ballads, with artists who are always pushing boundaries. 

With the Billboard calendar packed with some of these heavy hitters, the hype is real. And if you are a true music lover, you better start counting down the days, as these upcoming releases may define 2025!

Hurry Up Tomorrow by The Weeknd

The Weeknd has announced the sixth studio album 'Hurry Up Tomorrow', coming January 24, 2025, through XO and Republic Records. It is the culmination of the trilogy that started with 'After Hours' in 2020 and continued with 'Dawn FM' in 2022. 'Hurry Up Tomorrow' surrounds the unique themes of the passing of time, self-discovery, and redemption. 

The Weekend did not stop there, he has more in store for fans as he is set to feature in the psychological thriller called 'Hurry Up Tomorrow' inspired by the album. In this movie that features his songs, The Weekend is set to work with Hollywood stars Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan.

For this album, Lana Del Ray recorded 13 compositions that would resonate with her traditional themes in a rich American country. The lead single, 'Henry', has already gotten fans all excited about this album with it offering a peek into the heartwarming and introspective themes of the album. 

Debí Tirar Más Fotos by Bad Bunny

On January 5, 2025, Bad Bunny is set to release his sixth studio album, 'Debí Tirar Más Fotos' (I Should Have Taken More Photos), building excitement for the new year. This 17-track record is the follow-up to 2023's 'Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana'. And, the album also includes emerging artists, such as Colombian singer Cris Valencia, who is part of the promotional team. WHAM (Who Hard As Me) by Lil Baby

LG7 by Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga is scheduled to drop her seventh studio album, 'LG7' in February 2025. This album is a return to her dark pop sound, similar to her 2009 hit 'The Fame Monster'. So Close to What by Tate McRae

Tate McRae's new album, 'So Close to What', is expected to be out on February 21, 2025, through RCA Records. This would be her third studio album following the success of  'Think Later' in 2023. The record has 15 tracks, including the lead single 'It's OK I'm OK', which came out on September 12, 2024, and '2 Hands', released on November 14, 2024, both of which stirred up the excitement for the upcoming tracks. With 'So Close to What' fans can expect an introspective flow and catchy hooks, that follow the growth of McRae as an artist.
