In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), the singer announced that she was trying to come up with a “fun way” to celebrate her upcoming birthday. In the post, she also revealed that she wanted to make her Eras Tour Concert Film available for everyone to watch at home. The ‘Cruel Summer’ singer wrote that the extended version of the film would be up for rent on demand in the US, Canada and more on December 13th, 2023.
While that was news enough to send her fans flying into a frenzy, the singer added to the hype. Swift revealed that the film would also be including songs like ‘Wildest Dreams’, ‘The Archer’ and ‘Long Live’. Although the concert goers had already gotten their chance to witness the star in all her glory, this meant the rest of the world could see it soon too.
The news of a rentable version of the Eras Tour Concert Film came after fans were left feeling disappointed after the singer did not announce ‘Reputation (Taylor’s Version)’ on her tour.
Taylor Swift dampens fan dreams following the Eras Tour
Recently, Taylor Swift wrapped up her last Eras Tour show of the year. While the concert was breathtaking with a Travis Kelce appearance, this time fans were left feeling a little sad. That was due to the fact that the singer had convinced everyone that she would beh announcing her ‘Reputation (Taylor’s Version)’ album that night. While the rumors may have started with a Freudian slip from her, fans were still expecting it.
