And the pop star has found a clever way to endear herself to them, proving she is more than just a chart-topper. The star is now using her baking skills to win over Kelce’s teammates.
Recently, the Chiefs’ coach let on about the yummy snacks Taylor Swift handed out to the team to seal the deal on their friendship.

In a discussion with Mike Florio and Chris Simms at the NFL Scouting Combine, Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid revealed that the pop star had personally prepared homemade pastries for the team’s offensive linemen. The coach hinted that, to “fit in,” she whipped up a batch of homemade Pop-Tarts for the offensive line, Patrick Mahomes included. Simms added that making nice with the linemen was a solid strategy for winning over the whole team.
Despite some playful banter, Reid recognized Swift’s down-to-earth nature. “She’s so grounded for who she is,” said Reid. The topic of baking had surfaced before in conversations involving Swift and the Chiefs as well. Ex-NFL player Bernie Kosar once shared how Swift had once treated Kelce to cinnamon rolls before a game. However, this was not the first time the coach, Andy Reid, shared his thoughts on Taylor Swift or her relationship with Travis Kelce.
Last month, while many thought Swift attending the Chiefs’ games was a distraction for Kelce, Reid had the back of the ‘Red’ creator.

Since Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce began dating, opinions have been split on whether the pop sensation’s NFL appearances were a distraction for the footballer. While the debate is still going, Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid once shared his take on the couple and said that there “hadn’t been a problem at all“. Reid made his stance clear in the episode of the Let’s Go podcast, stating, “Trav’s handled it right, she’s handled it right, and we just move forward”.
Even Jason Kelce chimed in earlier this month on the ongoing focus on Taylor Swift during NFL matches. Speaking in an interview with ABC’s WCPO, Jason Kelce stated that “the NFL would be foolish not to show” the singer. With the Chiefs’ squad rallying around Swift and consistently praising her, it is safe to say that she has already become a favorite of the team!
