Taylor Swift is set to bring her Eras Tour to The Beatles city, Liverpool, in the upcoming days. And ahead of that, Liverpool City Council has revealed plans to rename the hometown of The Beatles, Lightning Seeds, and Atomic Kitten as 'Taylor Town' for a week. As reported by BBC,  the city will feature a trail of 11 art installations, each paying homage to a different era of Swift's career, starting from June 8. 

As per a recent Barclays Swiftonomics report, Taylor Swift's Eras Tour is projected to inject a £997 million boost into the UK economy. Furthermore, academics in the city are also getting ready for the pop star's arrival by hosting a conference to analyze and interpret her work. The day will conclude with a session of Critical Karaoke, where researchers will present one-song essays inspired by their chosen Swift track. This came right when the songstress is facing one of the most intense backlashes of her career.
