The Eras Tour by Taylor Swift has long earned its status as one of the most high-profile concert escapades since its inception. Serving both as Gen Z and millennials’ focal point of attraction, the tour has further been declared as a driving economic force for its host nations. However, with great reception statistics comes the responsibility of ensuring optimum security, and Swift may have spent a staggering $30 million ensuring that.
Consequently, Swift’s Eras Tour is now running as Europe’s most expensive tour, making history in the process.

As fans explore cheaper international alternatives for exploring Taylor Swift’s supremely acclaimed Eras Tour, the pop star herself is making use of the big bucks to ensure she has the best security at her disposal. Being “the biggest superstar on the planet” comes at a cost and Swift is willing to pay the price, precisely a whopping amount of $30 million to secure the “perfect” patrolling unit as per an Eras Tour consultant’s recent revelation to The Sun.
The source disclosed that the pop sensation has hired 20 officials known for their expertise in the area to look after her and her team as they venture through their European leg of the tour for 51 concerts. As per the data, each security personnel is paid $1,100 for 100 days of the tour. Moreover, there are additional costs within the $30 million grant that include expenses for security camera rentals, walkie-talkies, clothing, monitors, and travel costs.
Despite being labeled Europe’s most expensive tour thus far, the European counterpart of the Eras Tour still costs less than the ones in the US.

A fan previously divulged to Rolling Stone the extensive differences in ticket prices of the Eras Tour in France compared to the US. According to an itinerary calculated by CNN, traveling to Sweden from New York to see Taylor Swift would cost about $1300, including $300 for concert tickets, a $700 round-trip flight, and $300 for a stay at a four-star hotel. However, the ticket prices of the upcoming concerts in Miami, New Orleans, and Indianapolis cost $2000-8500 alone, as per prices cited by StubHub.
Many Swifties who have done the math found themselves shaking it off in Paris this month where, in fact, Eras Tour drew five times as many bookings from Americans as for the Paris Olympics this summer. Although the dollar rates have a hand in making overseas vacations less expensive, the European Union has also limited mark-ups on ticket resellers, with prices sticking around $300-$400. Thus, the European Eras Tour has not only ensured safety for Swift with a top-notch security team but also made it easy for Swifties with the sliced price.
