Taylor Swift ‘The Tortured Poets Department’: Explicit Titles Surface on Apple Music

Taylor Swift is yet again swiftly making space for love and poetry. This time, however, the credit goes to her upcoming album ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ slated for an April 19 debut. With still little more than a month to unleash madness over the most-anticipated drop of the annual quarter, fans have barely had a good night’s sleep since the first announcement. But for fans, the sleepless nights might be all worth it because almost abruptly, some explicit details including the song titles for the album have been disclosed on Apple Music. 

Previously, the tracklist and collaboration details had made their way but the sudden revealing of explicit tracks from the album is probably the fruit of the Swifties’ sleepless nights.

Explicit tracks on Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department

In the wee hours of Monday, a storm that took the Swifties aback was the sudden surge of explicit track titles from Taylor Swift’s ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ being available on Apple Music other than the released list for pre-save. The explicit tracks include, ‘The Tortured Poets Department’, ‘Down Bad’, ‘But Daddy I Love Him’, ‘loml’, ‘Florida!!!’, ‘I Can Do It with a Broken Heart’, and ‘The Smallest Man Who Lived’. 

Besides that, this is also supposedly Swift’s first album set for stylization entirely capital letters. For fans, Monday never felt this good since even the weekend-ending blues took flight with the sudden surfacing of the details. Speculation mills also hint that the next update might shed light on the tracks’ length in detail. While it is difficult to pinpoint if this was intentional from the makers’ end, either way, it is a cause for celebration for the Swifties.

With ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ buzzing for release on April 19, the anticipation for the album has reached its limit. But Taylor Swift is a Santa Claus when it comes to surprises and for her upcoming 11th studio album, she has big names for the collaboration lineup like Post Malone and Florence + The Machine.

The tracklist, that was released included 17 tracks with mentions of the above artists. Reportedly, for her track ‘Fortnight’, she will join hands with Post Malone. And for her explicit track ‘Florida!!!’, she has plans with Florence + The Machine. While that makes her drop twice the banger on the way, for Swifties, at least, it would be a difficult month to wait.
