Taylor Swift Surpasses the Musical Genius of the Beatles in Latest Billboard Milestone
‘Strawberry Fields Forever’ and ‘Yesterday’ stand among a host of other songs that solidified The Beatles as a musical powerhouse in musical charts across the decades until 34-year-old Taylor Swift came calling in 2024. The ‘Anti-Hero’ singer who has enjoyed smash success ever since the start of her Eras Tour concerts in 2023, now leaves no stone unturned in her pursuit of success, even as her stature continues to grow with every passing day.
In a show of dominance on the charts, the singer just dethroned the iconic rock band by a good margin.

Beyond music, both the ‘Wildest Dreams’ singer as well as the British band have a lasting hold on pop culture. However, with only one top spot to occupy, Taylor Swift swept past The Beatles for the number of cumulative weeks spent on the Billboard 200 Top 10 charts at 384 weeks against the latter’s 382. Moreover, her hold came owing to the ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’, ‘Lover’, and ‘Midnights’ albums still featuring prominently in the Top 10s.
The musical scenes received a rejig when Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign entered with ‘Vultures 1’ and managed to hold the number one position for two weeks now. Furthermore, the record for holding the first rank in the same chart still belongs to The Beatles at 132 weeks, with Taylor Swift coming right behind at 68 weeks, one more than Elvis Presley. Regardless, the latest chokehold of the ‘Style’ singer may have the record to her name in time.
A further boost to the singer’s dominance may also come from her incoming fresh album, which received a few boosts in Australia.
