According to a building and zoning permit obtained by Us Weekly on Tuesday, Taylor Swift is diving headfirst to expand her Rhode Island mansion in the exclusive enclave of Watch Hill. Her renovation plans will cost her a whopping $1.7 million on top of the already $17.75 million she spent in 2013. As per the reports, the singer’s holiday home, where she often spends holidays with beau Travis Kelce, overhaul includes turning one of the 11.000 square-foot bedrooms into an “enlarged bedroom suite,” and lounge.

Shafovaloff will take care of the project (via BuildZoom.com). The mansion already has eight bedrooms and ten bathrooms, but with the million bucks of a makeover, Swift could easily unveil her next era in the palatial estate.
