Fans have picked up on a little hint that Taylor Swift might already be engaged to Travis Kelce—and they cannot stop talking about it.

Taylor Swift recently celebrated her 35th birthday bash with Travis Kelce and the Mahomes. Swift’s good friend and Chiefs WAG Brittany Mahomes shared some snapshots from the Eras Tour-themed party, where the singer was spotted sipping on a cocktail while striking a pose. But after taking a close look at the party photos, one eagle-eyed Swiftie, @lizpwoods on Instagram, noticed that Swift’s left ring finger seemed a little blurred. This sparked a wild theory that Swift might have edited out an engagement ring to hide her betrothal. 

Many fans, however, questioned why, if Swift is actually engaged, she would not just take off the ring while posing for photos. The detective work did not stop there—fans also noticed a red friendship bracelet on her right arm, which appeared to be a sweet nod to the Chiefs' quarterback. A closer look at the bracelet showed five white letter charms, two of which looked like a side-by-side C and E. Upon connecting the dots, fans knew the charms spelled out “KELCE.” These engagement rumors have been swirling around for a while now.

Just earlier this month, however, a report suggested that an engagement is not in the cards for Swift and Kelce anytime soon.

A source told Us Weekly earlier this month that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce would “love to be engaged,” but they are definitely "not rushing it". Even back in May, an insider shared with Us Weekly that marriage is something Kelce takes seriously, and right now, it is “not even on his radar.” The couple has been soaking up some quality time in New York City since Eras Tour's wrap, and insiders think they are just excited to enjoy each other’s company for now.

This will also be a crucial period because this is the time when all those little quirks and habits might start to come to light. “They’ll learn so much about each other,” an insider said. But with all the back-and-forth reports—some claiming they are ready to take the next step and others saying they are still taking it slow—it is tough to say what is really going on until either Swift or Kelce spill the beans themselves.
