She said that if she was “lucky enough to win anything” that night, she was “just gonna do it.”

The 34-year-old also told her fans what her Plan B would have been if she had lost. Swift said, “My backup plan was that I was gonna announce it tonight in Tokyo.” While fans might have been robbed of an epic moment at the concert, the singer’s announcement came as she had made history that night after breaking a Grammy record that no other artist had managed before.

Swift also admitted that she had made it “perfect” and was “so so excited” that “soon we’ll get to experience it together.” With the album coming out in April, it looks like the singer might give fans a lot more details about the album before it finally drops.
