Taylor Swift and her Swifties fandom were over the moon when she clutched her Album of the Year award victory at the Grammy Awards last week. However, some folks were busy nitpicking her actions from when she went on stage to collect it. The presenter who announced her win was legendary singer Celine Dion. So, when a very excited Swift was bouncing around the stage before grabbing her memento from Dion, some felt she forgot to greet the senior artist.

This led to a slew of criticism directed at the award winner which she and Dion together combated with a subtle, yet powerful gesture recently.

Yesterday, Celine Dion posted a carousel of images from her Grammy Awards experience from the previous day to her TikTok account. The first click from this collection showed her and Swift in an embrace backstage with both women seemingly enjoying each other’s company. When the ‘Bad Blood’ singer came across the post, she dropped a slew of red hearts in the comments signaling her love for the veteran artist and brushing off rumors of a rift all in one move.

Considering that the number of hearts she left was thirteen, which is also Swift’s lucky number, it is evident that she holds the ‘I’m Alive’ singer in high regard. The power move of a post from Dion, who everybody remembers as the woman who sang the most epic movie soundtrack of all time aka ‘My Heart Will Go On’ from Titanic, ensured that people trying to sink Swift’s reputation through baseless speculations remain at bay.

Lately, Swift’s growing popularity, especially due to her presence at NFL games for Travis Kelce, has led Hollywood personalities to rally in her corner amidst backlash.

Along with the fame and love showered on Swift recently, the 14-time Grammy winner became the target of an equal amount of hate. Who can forget the disastrous joke made by Jo Koy at the Golden Globes last month about the cameras following her every move? Well, it appears that Trevor Noah, who hosted this year’s Grammys, took notes from Koy’s failure considering how he highlighted her achievements instead of making comments about her NFL appearances.

Another talk show host, Charles Barkley did something similar when he hosted his CNN series last week. Addressing the people who were lashing out at Swift for possibly attending the Super Bowl LVIII, he declared that those hating on her were losers. Evidently, the 34-year-old has the support of many renowned faces while she battles the challenges of becoming one of this era’s biggest stars.
