Taylor Swift Secret Project: Insider Reveals Exciting News for Post Eras Tour Era

Published 08/21/2024, 12:32 AM EDT

In her attempt to deliver the absolute best for her fans, Taylor Swift has transcended into becoming the maverick who has taken making music to a whole other level. Through her clever Easter eggs, lyrical finesse, masterful promotions, and sharp directorial eye, the Grammy-winning songstress ensures the party does not stop when the track does. This is why her fans are booked and busy, even when the singer is not releasing new music or performing on a world tour.

As fans await for the 'reputation' era painted beautifully in 'Taylor's Version' to drop, it seems that the singer might be working to throw them off the table instead.

Since the beginning of the year with Taylor Swift showing up to the MTV VMAs 2023 in what can only be described as a Reputation-coded outfit, fans have been on their toes for the re-release of the album. As they saw Swift subtly playing with her 'The Tortured Poets Department' tracks to throw shade at Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, they assumed that it was now or never. However, as per pop_insider on X, the singer is allegedly working on something not re-recordings related as she gets ready to shape up her career post-Eras Tour.

While the account did not present any hard facts or sources to validate the news, it is not too farfetched for Taylor Swift. Given the stunt she pulled by announcing a new album when fans were so sure that she was going to be releasing 'reputation', there is no saying that she will not pull something similar again.

If Swift does end up going through with a non 'reputation' era project post her Eras Tour, it will garner bitter-sweet reactions but so far fans are excited about everything the singer has planned out for Eras Tour.

Taylor Swift has opted for extended eras of silence in her career a couple of times. The most notable, however, remained the one that was followed by her 'reputation' album. This time around, Swift does not seem to have any plans of slowing down. With a boyfriend who does not mind globe-trotting with her, the singer already has some big plans for her post-Eras Tour life. Even if she does not go through with the non-rerecording plan, the songstress will be neck-deep into her feature film.

Back in 2022, it was announced that Taylor Swift would be making her feature film with Searchlight Pictures. Given that the Grammy-winning singer has proven her ability to act as well as direct through her music videos, especially All Too Well: The Short Film, it is among the most anticipated projects that Swift has in the hurdle. However, in between a feature film, a supposed non-rerecording project, and a 'reputation (Taylor's version)', it remains to be seen what comes first.
