Highlighted with a kiss that the couple shared after the team’s New Year’s Eve win, the recent comments by the mayor drag the singer into the thick of sports rivalry.

Regardless of this, the upcoming match stands on equal footing as both the teams stand strong after recent wins.

Defending champions, the Chiefs have left no ground untouched in ensuring they retain their title this season.
