Taylor Swift Receives a “treatment” Heads-Up From Buffalo Mayor Ahead of Travis Kelce’s NFL Fixture
Taylor Swift has jumped between several industries in the course of the recent few months. Starting with her massive incursion into Hollywood with The Eras Tour, the ‘Wildest Dreams’ singer made fashion headlines for her style statements at its premieres. However, the single most-talked-about overlap happened with her swooning romance with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Following her appearance at a string of fixtures for her beau and more often than not raining lady luck on him, all eyes await the next upcoming clash against Buffalo team.
Amid the Super Bowl closing in and a decider match hanging right above, the city’s mayor has chimed in with a playful jostle.

The prime attraction at recent Chiefs matches, Taylor Swift remains certain to attend the 22nd January Bills vs. Chiefs Divisional Round match. Hosted by Buffalo’s Bills Stadium, the decider event has received an update from the city’s mayor. A report by Marca had Byron Brown declaring that “She’s going to be welcomed here with open arms.” The heartfelt welcome, however, lay clad in a playful jibe as he added that “the treatment” will do nothing but “ease the pain” of a Chief’s defeat.
The 34-year-old singer has become the NFL’s prime attraction after she single-handedly lifted viewership records several times now. Additionally, at the prime of her career, Swift’s cheering for Kelce brought in radiating luck with the Chiefs winning through their fixtures this year. Highlighted with a kiss that the couple shared after the team’s New Year’s Eve win, the recent comments by the mayor drag the singer into the thick of sports rivalry.
Regardless of this, the upcoming match stands on equal footing as both the teams stand strong after recent wins.

Defending champions, the Chiefs have left no ground untouched in ensuring they retain their title this season. Buoyed by recent wins, the team currently stands with a 12.5% chance of winning the Super Bowl 2024. The odds may increase in their favor if they manage to win over the Bills. Additionally, with their last win over the Miami Dolphins coming in below-freezing temperatures, they may bravely face the snow in Buffalo.
In reality, however, the Bills are also on a similar warpath. Having won their matches after shoveling aside a blanket of snow, their prowess remains equal to the Chiefs. Thus, whether Taylor Swift’s presence indeed does turn the tide around for Kelce and his team remains to be seen.
