The scene of music shifted a little in the span of the last two months with big-ticket releases from the likes of Ye, formerly Kanye West, and Ty Dolla $ign, Ariana Grande, and Beyoncé. Unfazed by the emergence of such new entrants, the latest Billboard Top Album Sales chart carries a staggering eight albums from Taylor Swift out of the total fifty in its rankings. Remarkably, each of those albums moved to a higher position than their ranks just a week prior, despite releasing months or even years before.
The ‘Anti-Hero’ singer also boasts four of her albums in the top tens, of which ‘Folklore’ has stayed on for a staggering 191 weeks. The highest-rated album by her stands as ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)' at fourth position and recording a growth of over 13% in one week. Similarly, ‘Fearless’ surged by more than 25%, ‘Evermore’ by 12%, ‘Midnights’ by 13%, ‘Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)’ by more than 9.6%, and ‘Red’ by more than twice of its previous standings.
The upsurge marks a boon for the singer who lies on the verge of launching her new album, which has already scripted record highs.

Taylor Swift has come remarkably close to etching a larger-than-life persona for herself as her upcoming release, ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ remains set to sell over 1 million vinyl units within just the first week of its scheduled April 19 release. The sheer sales numbers will bring the singer to debut with a figure last achieved in 1987 by Michael Jackson’s ‘Bad’.
Carrying a total of four different editions - ‘The Manuscript’, ‘The Bolter’, ‘The Albatross’, and ‘The Black Dog’, the upcoming album will also compete with fresh releases like ‘Cowboy Carter’ from Beyoncé. The stage stays set for Taylor Swift to mark probably the biggest of her album releases.
