Post Malone recognizes that superstardom comes with personal sacrifices. Therefore, he opts to stay away from the intense fame associated with pop stars like Taylor Swift. Despite the tremendous success of their collaboration on ‘Fortnight’ from ‘The Tortured Poets Department,’ Malone recently told The New York Times why he believes “it must suck” to face the challenges of superstardom or be in her shoes.

Reflecting on his time filming the music video for ‘Fortnight,’ Malone noted the difficulties Swift faced, from using an umbrella to draping golf carts in order to block drones and helicopters from filming. He recognized the significant pressure and meticulous measures she had to take and felt deeply “honored” by the opportunity. Despite this, Malone indicated that he may not be ready to embrace that level of fame himself, even though his own following is no less substantial than hers.
