Taylor Swift’s Musical Prowess: The Guitars the Eras Tour Singer Strings On
At the height of her career, Taylor Swift refuses to climb back from the top anytime soon, even as the Eras Tours take her on a globe-trotting musical sojourn. In the past year, the singer sang her way into the billionaire club, held her biggest-ever concert with more than 96,000 fans on a single day, and also marked many highs in her romance with Travis Kelce. At the core of all such new heights lies her musical prowess, led by her vocals and fueled promptly by her guitars.
A list as expansive as her many eras, the guitars she has trusted along the way may vary in many ways but remain tuned for and showcased by her at the end.

A career that started as early as age fourteen with country music, Taylor Swift marked her first major appearances while holding a 50th Anniversary 314ce LTD Acoustic from a Californian brand, coincidentally named Taylor Guitars. A detailed list from Guitar.com highlighted the same while noting that around 2007, she shifted to a smaller-sized guitar made of a koa wood body. Thereafter, a vintage-style guitar featured prominently on the tour stands as her Gibson 1957 SJ-200 Murphy Lab Aged Acoustic.
During her six straight days of the Eras tour shows in Singapore, she also previewed the thinner version of the above guitar in Gibson’s J-180. Swift again returned to Taylor Guitars for her ‘Fearless’ era with a GS6 model before moving over to an electric guitar with a Gibson Les Paul Limited. The ‘Anti-Hero’ singer usually opts for acoustic during the Eras Tour shows for which her Taylor PS-14CE Grand Auditorium and a Gibson Les Paul Special in her favorite matte-red color stand out.
As prized of a possession they are for the singer, any fan would love to adore their place with any such memorabilia. Yet, the Swifties, in a show of their loyalty, refused to buy one for one special reason.

About a week down the line, hundreds of Swifties came together for a fan, Emily Harris, when wedding expenses had her list her signed Taylor Swift guitar for auction. Refusing to buy in an act of selflessness, many outright advised the to-be-bride to pull down the listing. Rather, the fandom set up a GoFundMe for her instead, amassing over $7,900 in a short span of time.
Held in Harris’ possession for over fourteen years, the guitar happens to be from the time when Swift had just begun her musical career. Furthermore, the unanimous agreement between the Swifties to pass on such a chance reflected their dedication and unity as a fandom.
