Taylor Swift has been riding the highest tide of her successful career with The Eras Tour. While the singer has been on numerous tours before, this one is unlike any other as it turns the backbone to revive the US economy while also frontrunner for one of the most successful musical tours ever. One would think, especially since she has said so herself, the ‘Mastermind’ would use this opportunity to cement her power by performing at one of the most anticipated annual events of the year, the Super Bowl. But Swift allegedly rejected the proposal. And even before the ink could dry up, Simon Cowell had pitched another candidate.

Given the hefty records of experience that he holds as a judge spotting raw talent that has helped the entertainment industry thrive for years, Simon Cowell’s approval holds a lot of weight. And effortlessly bearing the mantle of his compliments this time were the Chioma & The Atlanta Drum Academy.

The Chioma & The Atlanta Drum Academy managed to churn out of the America’s Got Talent judge a compliment as big as “I could see you with someone on the Super Bowl doing something like this.”

Cowell did not mention Taylor Swift, but he shared the same sentiment as fellow judge Heidi Klum. The model had said that given the band’s talent, they should be called up by Taylor Swift or Beyonce.

While it may not happen immediately as Swift is busy with her Eras Tour, the chances of the young band joining the artist on stage are not too thin.

The 18th season of the talent show has definitely started off as a blockbuster given how Simon Cowell has already pitched one contestant for the Super Bowl. Said contestant is a band, Chioma & The Atlanta Drum Academy consisting of young kids with a spectacular knack for churning a beat that gets everyone buzzing. This, added to the fact that they are relatively new yet popular, makes them the perfect contestant to be a part of the opening acts during Taylor Swift’s concerts.

The Grammy-winning singer handpicks the artists she provides her stage to, and Chioma & The Atlant Drum’s talent definitely fits the bill. A spot on her stage is only the beginning for the AGT contestants as the previous year’s winning band helmed Beyonce’s much-discussed performance in Dubai.
