Taylor Swift has etched her name in the history books as one of the most iconic musical figure of the era. The fact that there is a Wikipedia page focusing just on her “cultural impact” is a clear testament to how legendary the singer has become since‌ she first entered the scene at 16. She not only boasts a fanbase that transcends across borders but also serves as a beacon of inspiration for countless artists navigating the industry. 

The musical maestro, who is currently busy creating another cultural phenomenon with her Eras Tour, caused a stir at another band’s live performance, without even making a direct appearance, thanks to the lead singer of Disturbed.

In one of the recent shows of Disturbed, the frontman, David Draiman, called out a fan from the front row who seemed to be not having fun at the concert. Draiman then gave a shout-out to Taylor Swift and humorously told the fan that though Swift was not performing, the band was giving its all to make the concert as good as hers. “Taylor Swift kicks f***ing a**”, added the 50-year-old American singer in response to some boos from the audience. 

The band, Disturbed, then shared the video on their official Instagram page. It definitely scored the band some Swiftie love within their fan community. This event took place during the Illinois nu-metal band’s recent, and buzz-worthy, Take Back Your Life Tour. However, this was not the first time David Dariman proclaimed his love for the ‘Shake It Off’ singer publicly. 

He has been on record expressing his admiration for the singer and even desires to collaborate with her one day. 

David Draiman has been the ultimate Swiftie all along

David Draiman appeared in an interview with Philadelphia’s WMRR station, where he opened up about his admiration for the singer, who recently joined the billionaire club. The lead vocalist believed that Swift was “insanely talented”. He also shared that he would “love” to collaborate with her “on any given day”. The fact that he loved the most about Swift was her charm on stage during live performances. The way she interacts with her fans, plays instruments, and also sings live was, in Draiman’s opinion, a “real deal”. 

Apart from Taylor Swift, Draiman is also a huge fan of Pink and Lady Gaga. He considered all these female singers to be “gifted”. Taylor Swift, in Draiman’s words, is “one of the greatest songwriters of our time”. With the interview, David Draiman made it clear that he only has good things to say about Taylor Swift. And by asking Swift’s booers to “shut the f*** up” in his concert, he let people know that he is not down for any negativity against Swift either.
