Puck has recently shared a report confirming Taylor Swift’s likeliness to start working on her Disney movie following Eras Tour. Searchlight Pictures dropped the news in 2022 that they were backing Swift’s directorial and screenwriting debut. Despite the tight lips from both the production company and Swift herself, reports suggest that she already has an original script prepared, which is going to be the foundation of the project.
The chatter around her directorial debut grew after she was seen with the president of Searchlight Pictures at the premiere of Poor Things. Searchlight Presidents David Greenbaum and Matthew Greenfield also shared how they see Swift as a “once-in-a-generation artist and storyteller”, as per Variety.
