The wait is finally over, and Swifties can heave a breath of relief. After the two subsequent announcements from the Recording Academy missing out on the name of Taylor Swift in their performer’s list, a recent report by HITS Daily Double has now given the green light to her performance this Sunday. Although the news is enough to send down goosebumps, the same is yet to be confirmed by the Recording Academy.

At the Chiefs vs. Ravens game tonight, CBS announcers reportedly let out the news of Swift’s attendance at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards. In the fourth quarter of the game, Taylor Swift and SZA appeared on the on-air promo featuring previously confirmed artists who were set to perform at the ceremony. The news outlet reportedly claims that insider sources of the Academy also might nod accordingly. However, sources have Entertainment Tonight have shared that Swift will not be performing, just be in attendance. 

As it is, a Swift sonic spectacle might just be on the viewers’ watch list for this Grammy season. Even though there has been a lot of dilly-dallying about the announcement, the probability weighing on her side is a good enough reason to look forward to this weekend. And with her 6 nominations, one also wonders if Travis Kelce would be out there to support his beau. 

Though that news is still classified, Taylor Swift’s gracing the performer list will make her the 10th name among the other performers who are set to display. Hence, let’s take a look at the confirmed lineups.

Performers at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards

The Recording Academy declared the performers’ list of this year in three installments till now. The initial lineup secured artists like Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, and Olivia Rodrigo. Later on, a second row of announcements gave away the names of Travis Scott, Burna Bay, and Luke Combs. The third round of declaration just came in but without the sign of Taylor Swift as of yet.

As per the reports, the third lineup will include U2, Billy Joel, and Joni Mitchell. Although Taylor Swift is one of the lead competitors of the ceremony with 6 nominations, her reasoning to perform is yet on the checklist of the audience. Should it be ultimately confirmed by the Academy, a starlit night of swift extravaganza will await on February 4th.
